"Written agreement at the close of the mediation"
When you conclude your mediation with me you will have a final document, memorializing the outcome of the mediation. This document will be signed by the parties, or their legal representatives. Far to often, mediations conclude and the parties leave with nothing but an oral agreement. Down the road, the parties attempt to wrap up their case via the final paperwork. At that point the parties recall the terms of their settlement differently, resulting in a delay or a set-back to the final resolution. I will avoid this result by memorializing the final agreement in writing, at the time it is reached.
